JBK TEAM - Tracy places 5th Overall in Worlds.

In nasty onshore conditions the Womens World Surf Kayak High Performance Heats took to the water yesterday with 2 heats of the remaining 8 competitors. 20-30knot winds buffeted the coast making conditions messy and often unreadable for all competitors, it came down to wire with on a couple of points separating the group. Results saw our Tracy Place 5th Overall with 36.5 points and the end of her campaign in Spain. Although disappointed with the conditions, Tracy can hold her head high in the know that this is an amazing result., it has been a tremendous effort to place so high in the rankings for this competition. Congrats Tracy we are all very proud of your effort and cant wait to hear the stories and see the photos of your trip.

JBK - GRAND OPENING

The JBK Team and around 70 others attended our Opening Party at our new Huskisson Premises last Thursday night. The value of networking with other local businesses is paramount to the success of Jervis Bay Kayak Co . Janet and I would like to thank all those that attended as we appreciate the continued support from accommodation providers, Tourism Associations, Financial Institutions and Real Estate Agents from Jervis Bay and the many customers and friends that attended. Kim and Glen Hair from Passion Catering in Nowra fed the crowd and a great night was had by all. Finally the launch of our new promotional Video by local Videographer and Producer "Travis Meadows" was so well received that is was seen as a brilliant showcase of not only JBK but the whole area as a magnificent place to live, work and play. Thanks again Travis , we are so proud of the DVD and appreciate your efforts immensely.
