KAYAKTOPIA 2010 - MAJOR PRIZE WINNER

The Team here at JBK and our 2010 Kayaktopia Dealer Team are proud to anounce the winner of the Major Prize for this years Kayaktopia 2010. The final draw was held on Sunday afternoon at 1.45 PM in the Paddlers Courtyard, surrounded by the massive range of Kayaks on display.

The winner of the Seaward Intrigue Clear Bottom Recreatonal Kayak valued at $1500 was John and Kay Woodend. John and Kay are visiting from Melbourne and take the Intrigue home with them along with a Tribe 13.5 Sit On Top Double Kayak purchased earlier at Kayaktopia 2010. The guys scored 14 entries into our draw and were totally stoked with their luck. Ellen Boardman made the lucky pick out of the Sea to Summit Major Prize Drybag and the Draw was witnessed by a group of attendees.

2nd Prize of an Apollo Carbon Wing Paddle was taken out by Yolande Wilson of Woollamia Jervis Bay. Yolande has been a regular customer of JBK for 15 years and a big thank you to Mark Osmond from Apollo Craft fro the Donation of this beautiful piece of equipment.

JBK will host this major event on the Paddlesports calender, featuring manufacturers, distributors from across the industry all under one roof and our paddler courtyard with over 500sq mtrs of displays, gear, clothing , footwear to tempt everyone that's into Watersports and the Outdoors. Kayaktopia DEMO day and SUP clinics kick off at 830am ( see schedule here ) on the beach opposite the Store and Door Prizes and major prizes being offered all weekend. Prizes include Paddles / clothing / dry bags / and an Seaward Intrigue Kayak from JBK and Seaward Kayaks Australia.
